Fausto`s Family Restaurant in Kinder

The restaurant looking nice and clean inside. The workers here are friendly. Also nice decorations like in country town. I enjoyed eating my food here. I'm looking forward return back again soon.

Came from Texas City to see the exterior of the coushatta and came to fausto’s to have some alligator, it was delicious and staff was very friendly

This is an excellent restaurant. It is in Kinder Louisiana. I'd always wondered why it had a crowd when the other nearby restaurants we're empty. Today I tried it out and found out why. I had the grilled shrimp and they were outstanding. I have never had grilled shrimp as good as this. The service is excellent, even though you order at a window and they bring it to you. The coleslaw was good, and the baked potato was very good. The strawberry cream cake was wonderful. But out of all of it I again have to say that it was the best grilled shrimp I have ever had. I definitely suggest this as a place to eat

Deliciousness! Love the set up. There were mounted animals that covered the walls! I was amazed. Very clean, family-oriented, southern restaurant. The prices were reasonable when it came to the food because they give you generous portions! Not only were the shrimp huge, you could tell the food was made to order!

Stopped for a bit to eat and By Gawd! The food tasted so Delicious!!! Ordered a combo of Fish & Shrimp with fries and was not disappointed! I think its the batter they use, nice and crispy!

Very nice place to eat. Great food; had to order twice. First order we just order gumbo and the second order we order onion rings. Love the food. Will go back

Dnt call n a order cause If they dnt have it they want let u knw they will let u drive all the way up their then say o I'm sorry we dont have potatoes tonight so we started going to Roy's instead much better and cheaper

They are friendly and courteous , you feel at home there and they have great food and fast service. It all comes together and that's what makes it a GREAT PLACE 👍👍☺

The portion size is excellent at Fausto's. I had a small fish dinner with three catfish filets, cole slaw, a fried pistolette, and a baked potato with cheese, butter, and sour cream for around fifteen bucks. My wife had a fried chicken salad loaded with cheese and tomatoes. My son had a large kid's chicken nugget meal with fries and a drink. I've dined here before and have always had a good experience. The crowd is a mix of locals and travelers visiting the local casino. There are a ton of taxidermied animals on display including a bear, a moose, multiple deer, bobcats, and other animals, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of that sort of thing. It doesn't bother me personally, but I know some people don't care to see those sorts of things. Overall, this is a very good restaurant with a friendly staff and great food.

That place has delicious food!! I recommend it anyone that is hungry for Cajun food.. the fried alligator plate is spot on. Only reason only 4star is the bathroom is one at a time.

Not impressed. Saw the billboard and stopped on the way to visit family. The older lady with glasses working the register was not welcoming. I felt uncomfortable and wanted to order as quickly as possible. I got the shrimp sandwich. Tons of popcorn shrimp on a hamburger bun with tarter sauce. Highly disappointed and won't be back. Companies really should put their best foot forward and have friendly folks as the face of their busisness. People don't want to spend their money to be treated poorly. Only positive is the place was clean.

This has some of the best fried catfish ever!!! We have enjoyed coming for years when we visit Coushatta. It is a must stop when going to Kinder.

Shrimp is good and the fries were average. Also added some onion rings which were pretty good. The place is painted up in LSU colors which could use some updating.

This place is pretty good. Quick service and fresh. I deducted 1 star because on our recent visit the girl in front was not as welcoming and friendly as she should have been.

This is absolutely hands down the best food in town!! Had to eat here twice on our vacation. Customer service is excellent!! I orderd the Alligator plate and it was very delicious!! I am from Columbus Tx which is 50 miles west of Houston. The staff made me feel like I was at home. The onions rings here are second to none, my wife and I loved them!!

Stopped by for some dinner on the way to the Casino. I'm not much of a seafood eater as I only eat shrimp. My boyfriend eats more of variety of seafood however is very picky with his fish. Needless to say, the food was delicious. They have a variety of options on the menu for non-seafood eaters like me. I tried their fried shrimp dinner and boy I couldn't finish the 12 piece. I didnt realize they were so huge. My boyfriend LOVED the fish. This is a place we will keep on our lists for future visits. :)

For the most part the food was authentic and delicious. I'm not sure why they don't have servers when the prices are what they are and why they try to give the same kinds of service....like let the employees make some money???? If they waited us good enough I'd easily give 20% tip if waited on. Great food

I love the food and drive from Iowa la to get it,, but the only down side is sometimes they have no chicken which I do understand u may have to wait but they are rude when they say it. It's like a burden to them or something. Not happy

Good food at all locations well priced for the quality of food you are served. Down home dishes pick your poison. Friendly staff very personable and attentive.

The food was very good and tasty. The 1st young lady waited on me was rude.Ordered mushroom burger with cheese and they didn't put it on the burger. No mayo just ketchup and bun was greasy. Chicken is great though

They have the best chicken and burgers. Everything comes out fresh and hot. Never a bad meal.

Food is delicious and the staff is very kind. Only thing I'd change is a bit more selection or something besides the exact same items they had on the buffet all 3 times I visited.
